Camilla: I don’t want to be Queen.

Camilla, Duchess Of Cornwall (Zimbo)

Camilla has said she will never have any desire to be Queen and rules out any change of heart on her intention to be Princess Consort if Charles outlives his mother and eventually becomes King.

A Royal Aide has backed up this position by saying that an arrangement was made prior to Camilla and Charles’ wedding in 2005 where her wish to be known as Princess Consort  was agreed upon.

Legally, however, it may be a different matter. In 2005 when Charles and Camilla were married, the Royal Household claimed it was only a convention that the wife of a King was known as his Queen.

Now staff at Clarence House accept the Government’s view that the King’s wife automatically becomes Queen unless there is legislation preventing it.

“It will be up to the Government of the day to decide whether it thinks legislation is needed,” the senior royal adviser said.

“Otherwise she will, as you say, legally be Queen but that doesn’t mean she has to be known by that title.

“In the same way, she is legally the Princess of Wales but she doesn’t use that title because of the sensitivities.”

In February, she fuelled suspicions that she and Charles were still plotting for her to be given the title when an eight-year-old girl asked her: “Are you going to be Queen one day,” and she replied: “You never know.”

I’ve scrubbed and scrubbed but it won’t come off!’ Camilla’s anguish over Henna tattoo

During her recent Tanzania trip she agreed to have a Henna tattoo with the assurance being it would wash away within a couple of days, however 9 days later and the tattoo is still there despite Camilla’s best efforts

When asked about the tattoo still being visable at a recent engagement in aide of Unicorn Children Theatre

‘The less said about that the better!

‘I didn’t feel that I could refuse and it was rather beautiful but then, after I had it done, this lady put her hand on mine and splodged it everywhere.

‘I just can’t get it off. I have tried scrubbing and everything…nailbrushes, you name it. I just don’t know what to do.

Camilla is keen to rid the tattoo in time for several high profile engagements including a lavish state banquet at Buckingham Palace thrown by the Queen in honour of the Turkish President where tiaras are a more traditional form of adornment

Scientists line up to attack Prince Charles’ ‘fixation’ with alternative medicines

Prince Charles )Zimbo)

Scientists are attacking Prince Charles for his fixation on alternative medicines and his inability to see that alternative medicines including Homeopathy, acupuncture and chiropractic therapy are ineffective in most cases

Hundreds of studies had concluded that alternative medicine mostly does not work, but Prince Charles still backs these treatments because of his commitment to the natural world

Scientist Simon Singh speaking at the Hay Festival in Kerala, India says

He [Charles] only wants scientific evidence if it backs up his view of the natural treatment of health conditions.

‘It’s a shame, because he’s so influential.’

In Trick or Treatment, a book he co-authored in 2008, Mr Singh examined more than 30 alternative medicine treatments and their effectiveness. It was dedicated to the Prince after the heir to the throne publicly demanded more research to decide whether natural therapies worked. The book – which he sent to Clarence House – claimed the outcome of alternative therapies when compared to conventional medicines was ‘dismal’.

But the Prince would not budge from his beliefs, Mr Singh told the festival, which is sponsored by the Daily Telegraph.

Mr Singh also claimed Charles believed in climate change but did not understand it.
