Royals in NY

This week the Scandinavian Royals met in New York to celebrate the America-Scandinavia Foundation‘s 100 years.

To celebrate it the Foundation gave a ball in the Hilton. It was attended by HM King Harald & Queen Sonja, HM King Carl Gustaf & Queen Silvia, and HRH Crown Prince Frederick and Crown Princess Mary. Princess Madeleine also attended the ball possibly because she lives nowadays in New York.

Q. Silvia and Q. Sonja repeated dresses, however, with different results. Q. Sonja looked dated in a yellow dress while Q. Silvia looked as glamours as always in a purple frock.

CP Mary wasn’t very fortunate with her choice because her silver dress had a very strange neckline that didn’t favour her at all. Princess Madeleine looked gorgeous in a off white dress.
